Storage Class Memory

Storage-class memory has been defined as a new class of products, that combines the best attributes of both traditional storage and memory devices.

A storage class memory must be:

1. Non-volatile
2. Fast
3. Low cost-per-bit to manufacture
4. Solid state

Unity Semiconductor believes that CMOx™ memory technology fits the definition of storage class memory, and Unity’s non-volatile memory products will address the needs of the rapidly emerging SSD (solid state drive) market.
